Whatever happened to chivalry？ Does it only exist in ’80s movies？

　I want John Cusack holding a boombox outside my window.

　I wanna ride off on a lawn mower with Patrict Dempsey.

　I want Jake from Sixteen Candles waiting outside the church for me.

　I want Judd Nelson thrusting his fist into the air because he knows he got me.

　Just once, i want my life to be like an ’80s movie.

　Referably one with a really awesome muscial moment for no apparent reason.

　But, no. No.

　John Hughes did not direct my life.

This is a reading from Olivetti, the heroine of this movie. This passage resonated with me

The film is about the life of a high school student, and I think it is clever in that it uses comedy to describe a truth. This kind of good thinking topic seems to be rarely available in China, and if it were to be filmed it would mostly be interpreted in a heavy or critical way.

Behind the lies, it seems that everyone does not have the patience to understand, or even if they know she is innocent, people only believe the kind of truth they like. As the heroine says in the movie, the radicals will always catch a weakness and attack.

“People, live high and proud. Sometimes even if you try to explain, it is useless, but becomes a kind of justification. A kind of cover-up. So let time to prove, let the facts to explain.”

I always feel the most helpless in this film is that the female protagonist for their teacher to carry the misunderstanding of this paragraph, really makes me think that sometimes people’s kindness will really be touched by themselves and then accepted without limits.

She can not have to, or she feels that she has carried, does not matter to carry some more. But this is undoubtedly to encourage others, with hands to send themselves to hell. At the end of the film she hopes that those she once helped will come forward to clarify for themselves, but none of them will do so. Of course, these people are suffering from all the pain and hurt that comes with falsehood.

People in front of the screen hope that she is a “real whore”, but she is already the whore in her own life.
